Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and PLYN. They say what PLYN provides, what it does not promise, what you pay and what happens if you want your money back.
Version 1 · in effect from 2026-10-19
1. Who you are contracting with
PLYN is operated by the company whose registered details are published on the Business and service information page and in the footer of every page of this site, including its business registration number and its online-sales registration number.
Written enquiries about these terms go to support@plynlink.com.
2. What PLYN provides
PLYN is an information and support service for people planning to study at a Korean university. It provides the following, and nothing beyond them is included unless it is agreed with you in writing.
- School information profiles, in which each fact is traced to the school’s own published source and checked by a person before it is shown, with the date it was last checked.
- A recommendation, computed from the answers you give, at no charge.
- Paid access to a full report, where a report for that school and course has been published.
- A calendar service that follows a school’s own published dates for a fixed period.
- Admission application support, as a consulting engagement whose scope is agreed with you before it begins.
3. What PLYN does not promise
This section is the one to read twice. PLYN is not a university, not a government body, not a licensed immigration agent and not a law firm.
- PLYN does not decide admission. A university decides admission, on its own criteria, and PLYN has no part in that decision.
- PLYN does not issue, influence or expedite a visa. An immigration authority decides a visa.
- PLYN does not award scholarships, dormitory places or tuition reductions.
- PLYN therefore gives no guarantee of admission, of a visa, of a scholarship, of a dormitory place, or of any other specific outcome. No employee or operator of PLYN is authorised to give you one, in writing or otherwise.
- School information comes from sources the schools themselves publish and change, sometimes without notice. PLYN shows when each fact was last checked, and where something is not confirmed it is marked as needing confirmation rather than filled in with a plausible figure.
- A recommendation is a ranking of published profiles against the answers you gave. It is information for your decision; it is not advice that a particular application will succeed.
4. Your account
An account is an email address you have proved you can read, and a password. There is no social login and no second factor in this phase.
The account is yours alone. Keep the password to yourself, and tell PLYN at once if you think somebody else has it.
The service is for people aged 14 or over. PLYN does not currently operate a legal-guardian consent process, so an account may not be opened for a child under 14.
What you tell PLYN must be true. A recommendation computed from facts that are not yours is wrong in a way neither of us can see, and a declaration about where you live that is made in order to obtain a price that does not apply to you is a breach of these terms.
5. Orders, prices and payment
Prices are published in advance on the Pricing page. The amount shown to you at checkout is the amount charged — the server computes the charge from the published catalogue and does not accept an amount sent by your browser.
Amounts are in US dollars. Payment is taken by PayPal. Your card or bank details are given to PayPal and never reach PLYN.
An engagement at or above the published approval threshold is not payable immediately. It goes to a consultation and an operator’s approval first, so that a large case is agreed with a person before any money moves.
Where the published figure for a service is a minimum rather than a final price — an application with very little time left is the case this applies to — the order cannot be paid until a person has set the final amount and you have seen it.
6. How the service is delivered
Everything PLYN sells is delivered online. Nothing physical is sold or shipped.
Access to a paid report begins when the payment clears.
A calendar for a school whose dates PLYN has already collected begins when the payment clears. A calendar for a school that has not been collected yet begins when the service can actually be served, and the preparation time is quoted to you before you pay rather than after.
Where a service cannot be delivered at all, you are told so and the payment is returned in full.
7. Cancellation and refunds
The Refund Policy is part of these terms and is published alongside them. Agreeing to these terms is agreeing to it.
8. Documents you send to PLYN
A consulting case asks you for documents. Send only documents that are yours and that are genuine.
They are stored privately, are reachable only through a short-lived link issued to you, and are read by an operator who records what was accepted and, where something is sent back, why.
PLYN reviews a document for completeness against what the case needs. PLYN does not certify, officially translate, notarise or apostille anything, and a PLYN review is not a university’s acceptance of the document.
A document PLYN asks you for is PLYN’s request for your case. It is not a copy of a school’s own requirement list, which the school publishes and may change.
9. What you may do with what you receive
A report, a PDF and a calendar are for your own use in your own application. You may keep them, print them and show them to the people helping you.
You may not resell, republish or redistribute them, and you may not present them as your own work or as a university’s document.
The underlying facts belong to the schools that published them. The selection, checking, wording and layout are PLYN’s.
10. Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time from My PLYN. When you do, your personal data is removed or anonymised and the record of what was bought and what you were told is kept, because a sale is not unmade by a customer leaving and an auditor has to be able to read it. The Privacy Policy says exactly which rows go and which stay.
PLYN may suspend or close an account where it is used fraudulently, where documents are not the account holder’s, or where a declaration was made to obtain a price that does not apply. PLYN will say which of these it is.
11. Liability
PLYN is responsible for its own mistakes, and where PLYN is at fault the Refund Policy says what that is worth.
PLYN is not responsible for a decision taken by a university or by an authority, nor for a change a school makes to its own published information after a fact was checked and shown with its date.
Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence that cannot be limited by agreement.
12. Changes to these terms
A change to what you are agreeing to is published as a new version, with its own version number and effective date, and announced before it takes effect.
Where a change needs your agreement rather than your notice, you are asked to agree to the new version the next time you sign in, and the previous version stays published so you can compare them.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea, and a dispute may be brought before the courts of the Republic of Korea.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not take away any right to bring a claim in your own country, or any protection of your own country’s consumer law, that cannot be taken away by agreement.
